How Do You Take Apart A Maytag Neptune Dryer?
The Maytag Neptune dryer is a reliable space-saving appliance. Like other appliances, however, parts will wear out over time. Servicing the Maytag Neptune dryer is less time-consuming when you know how to take apart the cabinet. When you remove the cabinet from the dryer, all the mechanical parts within the dryer are fully accessible. The average appliance owner can remove the cabinet with little difficulty. Unplug the Maytag Neptune dryer from the dryer electrical outlet. Pull the dryer away from the wall. Loosen the clamp that holds the dryer duct to the exhaust port on the back of the dryer with a Phillips-head screwdriver. Pull the dryer duct off of the exhaust port and away from the dryer. Remove the three screws at the top edge of the control console with a Phillips-head screwdriver.
