How Do You Take Action To Save Wolves?
• Ask your U.S. representative to sign the PAW Act. Representative George Miller has introduced the PAW Act(Protect America’s Wildlife), legislation to close a federal loophole and curb Alaska’s horrible aerial hunting program. Write a letter to your U.S. representative asking them to sponsor this act. • Support the management of Southwest Wolves. Southwest wolves are one of the most endangered animals in the U.S. and play an important role in our culture and wilderness but recovery efforts have yet to ensure a lasting future for these wolves. Write a letter to Ben Tuggle, Southwest Regional Director for the Fish & Wildlife Service supporting science-based wolf management. Also write letters to your congress members asking them to support science-based wolf management. Support a National Wolf Recovery Plan.
