I have written articles on how to take shots of other liquors, but this is specifically for vodka. Taking a shot of vodka doesn’t have to be a painful experience. After reading this article you will be able to take a shot of vodka without looking like a complete wuss. Pour your vodka into a shot glass. Chilling the vodka beforehand makes the liquor go down a little smoother, just make sure there are no pieces of ice floating around in it. Hold the shot glass in your hand and pour the vodka into your mouth at a moderate speed. DO NOT shoot the vodka to the back of your throat as this will cause you to gag and make you look like a fool. Instead pour the vodka in and let it fill up your mouth, making sure to let all of your taste buds get a taste. You will be surprised at how much flavor vodka has.
