How Do You Switch Out Symbols On The Flash Stage?
Switching symbols on the “Flash” stage can be done using the “Swap Symbols” function; using “Swap Symbols” rather than manually switching symbols allows you to replace one symbol with another without having to realign them. “Flash” will automatically align the registration point or the center of the replacement symbol with the location of the registration point or the center of the original symbol. Read on to learn more. On your “Flash” stage, select the symbol that you wish to replace. Access the Swap Symbols window by either: right-clicking the symbol and selecting “Swap Symbol” or clicking “Modify->Swap Symbol.” In the window that appears, scroll through the list of available symbols in your library to locate and select the symbol that you want to place on the stage in place of the currently selected symbol. Click “OK” to switch the symbols out.
