How Do You Switch Doors On Whirlpool Duet?
The door on the Whirlpool Duet dryer can be reversed to meet your usage needs. Using the door reversal trim kit available at most appliance repair stores and some common household tools, you can switch doors on a Whirlpool Duet. It is a good idea to keep the old trim kit just in case you decide later that you want the door reversed again. Place a towel either on top of the dryer or on the floor to protect the finish of the door and to place the door parts so you can readily retrieve them. Unsnap the plastic handle filler on the opposite side of the door. Use a small, flathead screwdrive to release the handle. Pull the handle filler off and set it aside. Loosen and remove the plastic hinge cover filler with the flathead screwdriver. Set these two filler covers in a safe place in case you decide later to turn the door direction again.
