How Do You Switch Between Microsoft Programs At The Same Time?
Increased processor speed and memory in current computers enable users to use several programs at the same time. The Macintosh and Windows operating systems have task-switching functions that allow users to view running programs and access a specific application quickly by moving that window to the front. These task-switching functions are accessed by pressing two keys together. Press and hold the “Command” key (Apple logo) and press the “Tab” key. Review the pop-up display that shows the applications that are running. One program is highlighted in a box, designating that program is currently visible. Press the “Tab” key while continuing to hold the “Command” key to toggle through the open applications until the desired program is highlighted. Release the keys to access the selected application.
