So you got invited to training…congratulations! Enjoy this time; you’ll make some of your best inflght friends at training. But, first, let’s get you through those weeks so you can earn your wings. Get situated in your living arrangement. Whether you’re put up in a hotel or at a training facility, chances are you’ll have a roommate or several. Find a way to share your living space well and get along or it’ll be a looong few weeks. Pay attention in class. There will be days when you want to gouge your eyes out because you’re bored but do try to absorb as much information as possible. Most training programs have a set exam structure. You will get all the information you need to pass the exams in class or in your reading materials–there are no trick questions. Study as necessary. Don’t psych yourself out over the exams.
