Tucked away in the northeast corner of Spain is Pais Vasco, the Basque Country. This popular beachbreak is always working, offering assorted barrels and gorgeous waves. The sandbars on the ocean floor shift constantly, which means that the type and formation of the waves will always vary. There is a small amount of localism, but nothing to discourage a trip. Move on to El Basurero. Close to Bakio, this pointbreak works during big swells, usually when the other breaks have closed out. Try it during low tide.
