Animal rescue groups save the lives of thousands of domestic animals every year, but the work isn’t easy. Almost all groups function on a donation basis and need help to continue to save homeless animals. Even if you can’t take in a needy dog or cat, you can still support animal rescue groups. Just follow these easy steps. Make a monetary donation when possible or purchase items where a portion of the sale goes to an animal rescue group. Organizations use these funds for medical care, food, shelter and training.
