Log into your Craigslist.org account and click on the “Post to Classifieds” link. You can use Craigslist for all kinds of things, but when you want to sell items click on the “For Sale” category link. Find the category which best describes your item and click on that link. If you live in a metropolitan area you may be asked to further define the location in which you’d like your transaction to take place. Click the city or area that best describes your area. Fill in your ad with the appropriate information regarding your item for sale. Make sure to add as much detail as would be helpful to your buyer. Sometimes it helps to add the letters “OBO” at the end of your post so that people feel the freedom to haggle with you.
