In this day and age, succeeding in a job interview is critical. Considering the availability of jobs, and the unemployment rate, it is safe to say that the competition is stiff. Here is a how to on succeeding during that interview, and making a good impression. The first thing you need to remember is that your goal is to make a good impression. The first thing that an interviewer is going to notice is your appearance. Make sure you dress for success. Make sure you gear you attire towards the position that you are interviewing for. Look at the current employees and dress similarly. Here is general rule of thumb. If the position is for retail or restaurant work, dress business casual (see pic) for the interview. Wear a nice pair of khakis or dress slacks, a button up shirt, nice shoes and a belt. Make sure you tuck in your shirt. For an office job, wear a suit and tie.
