If the recipe you’re using calls for one type of flour, but you happen to have another, don’t let that deter you from executing a delicious dessert! The recipe calls for ALL PURPOSE FLOUR. But you have CAKE FLOUR. For each cup of all purpose flour, use 1 CUP of CAKE FLOUR plus an additional 2 TABLESPOONS of CAKE FLOUR. The recipe calls for CAKE FLOUR. But you have ALL PURPOSE FLOUR. And you have CORNSTARCH. For each cup of cake flour, use 3/4 CUP of ALL PURPOSE FLOUR plus 2 TABLESPOONS of CORNSTARCH. Sift this mixture together before using. The recipe calls for CAKE FLOUR.
