It’s hard enough for students to make a video project to submit for film festivals, let alone pay the entry fees. Here are 9 festivals that allow students to submit their projects for free! The West Chester International Short Film Festival for Young Filmmakers (www.westchesterfilmfestival.com) has no entry fee for their student competition. The Mudfest Festival in Australia (www.mudfest.com.au) is free to enter student films under 15 minutes in length. Maybe you can take a trip and watch your film if it is accepted! The Dead Center Film Festival (www.deadcenterfilm.org) is free for students to enter but requires a copy of their student id. The festival is located in Oklahoma.
