How Do You String A Les Paul Guitar?
“THE FERRET: All right. So now, we’ve got the pickups balanced and a nice even sound between the two. We’ve got the intonation and the neck adjusted. All the controls seem to be working without making any noise, so we don’t have to do anything there. It looks like it’s ready to rock. Only last notes would be–we didn’t show you how to actually run the strings through. It’s fairly simple. You just go to the back of the stop bar here through the hole over the bridge saddle and right to the tuning peg. And you just want to leave a little extra string pass each post that you wanna–if you don’t want to use all the string, you can coil them around like this is done here or you can cut the extra that you don’t need off, and just wrap that around the string post and tune up the pitch. We’re just going to give it a play test to make sure every thing is in order. Everything is working great.
