Lacrosse goalies have a difficult job as the last line of defense, and their only real means of preventing goals (as well as initiating breakout passes to start the offense) is their bodies and a properly strung goal stick. Many different types of pockets can be created once you’ve strung your head. Open the re-stringing kit and stretch the mesh out with your hands so that it is completely unfolded and flat. Lay your stick flat and lay the mesh over the opening in the head, or crosse. Fold over the mesh that sticks out over the top of the head, taking care to line up the first and third lines of holes with one another. Tie off one of the ends of the string and thread the remainder through the top holes on the head. Re-thread the remainder of the string back through the holes so that you end up at the beginning.
