How Do You String A Girls Lacrosse Stick?
• Buy a stringing kit. Do not try to use household string, as this would not work. It can come in many different types, but they are all pretty similar. If you’re not sure, just ask someone at the store. Also, you can add color to match your head or shaft, or just a random color. • Take the previous strings off of your stick. Only if you’re restringing, if it’s a new stick don’t worry about it. • Open the package of strings. Make sure not to lose anything. Be especially careful not to lose the ball stop. It looks like a sticker and can easily fall out. • Start the stringing. First is the side wall lace. Use two of the 34″ heavy braided sidewall pieces. Insert sidewall lace through the second hole from the top of the sidewall. Weave the lace through the available sidewall holes and tie off at the second to last hole on the bottom end of sidewall. Use the other braided sidewall lace for the other side, and just repeat the steps. Do the top lace. Use one 32″ heavy braided sidewall piece.
