How Do You Stretch Calf Leather Boots?
A brand-new pair of calf-leather boots may look great on your feet, but if they don’t fit well, it isn’t likely that you’ll want to wear them much. Luckily, there are tried and tested ways to stretch this type of footwear and increase comfort without doing any damage to the soft, supple leather. Saturate one of the boots with the stretching liquid as directed by the product’s manufacturer. Expand the shoe stretcher to the widest width or length the shoe will allow, and insert the shoe stretcher into the first boot. Turn the knob slowly to stretch your boot to the desired width or length. Leave the stretcher in the boot overnight, then remove it and try on the boot to see if it has stretched to the desired fit. If not, re-insert the stretcher and leave it in for another 12 to 24 hours. Repeat the above steps with the other boot.
