Storing hand-blown glass Christmas ornaments can be nerve-wracking. It seems like any time the box is even shifted, something breaks or is damaged. There are lots of ways to store your glass ornaments, but the best way is to be extra safe and provide them with plenty of padding. It make take an extra few minutes to put them away, but you will be grateful when you pull them out next year and find them undamaged. Set aside all the hand-blown glass Christmas ornaments next to an ornament box. Fill the ornament box with foam packing peanuts, available at office stores and mailing services. Take each glass ornament and carefully cover with wrapping foam, being careful not to wrap the ornament too tight. Secure the wrapping foam with a small piece of tape. Place the wrapped ornaments into the box of packing peanuts so that they are surrounded. Don’t let any ornaments rest at the bottom of the box or allow them to touch the sides.
