How Do You Store Coffee Beans Or Ground Coffee?

0

Did you know that coffee beans tend to lose their flavor quickly when exposed to air Since coffee beans tend to lose their flavor quickly when exposed to air the best place to store them is in an airtight container (such as rubbermaid or tupperware). I’ve tried the zipper type freezer bags but they don’t seem to work as well. Coffee beans and/or ground coffee can be stored at room temp and should be kept in a cool dark place like a pantry or in the kitchen cabinet but definitely away from the heat (like over or near the stove) Coffee beans will stay fresh for approximately 2 weeks while ground coffee will only stay fresh for only 1 week. If you need to store your coffee longer then you can freeze the whole coffee beans in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
