How Do You Store Barbecue Cleaning Tools?
Storing barbecue tools can be just as important as storing the grill and the food you’re cooking. Correct storage of your barbecue cleaning tools can extend the life of your favorite grilling utensils, save you time and ensure that your tools stay clean. Step 1 Scrub your grill with your grill brush and scraper to remove any leftover food. Take the brush and rub it against a clean part of the grill. This will disperse the grime and soot off the brush. Hang these brushes on your grill if you have hooks, cover them with your grill cover and leave them outside. Step 2 Store brushes and scrapers in a plastic container with a lid, if you no longer have the boxes or storage containers they came in. This will keep moisture out and keep the metal parts from rusting. Step 3 Wipe down grates and inside of grill with a wet sponge, rinsing it well in between wipes. Not rinsing well just spreads the soot. Let the sponge dry and store it away from other sponges so you don’t confuse their uses. Stori
