The British love affair with curries and Indian food is well known and anyone who visits the UK on a regular basis will know that some of the best value restaurants around serve Indian food. When friends from Spain visit London I always recommend eating in Indian restaurants and was surprised to hear that one of the things that put them off – apart from being unfamiliar with the food – is that Indian restaurants look expensive.
