How Do You Stop Junk Email In Outlook?
By default, junk email filtering is disabled in the Microsoft Outlook application. But if you notice you are receiving a high number of illegitimate messages, you can turn on junk email filtering and adjust the level. By enabling junk email filtering, Outlook will stop junk messages from ending up in your inbox. Open the “Start” menu by clicking on the icon in the lower-left corner of the screen and click on the “Microsoft Outlook” icon. Open the “Actions” menu at the top of the Outlook window and expand the “Junk Email” submenu. Select “Junk Email Options” from the submenu. Click on the radio button next to the level of junk email filtering you want to enable. Choose “Low” if you want obvious junk messages to be filtered out of your inbox or choose “High” if you want more suspicious messages filtered out. Check the box next to “Permanently Delete Suspected Junk Email” if you want Outlook to automatically delete all junk email.
