How do you stop hair from going khaki when going from bleached blonde to brown?

When you choose the colour to dye your hair, choose one with slightly more red pigment/tone than you would like to achieve and that will ensure a warm/natural brown result without any chance of a khaki tinge. Stay away from “flat colours” that lack warmth and depth. If your hair is very bleached: Colour the most bleached/white/porous/dry parts first for 15-20 minutes then wash and dry the hair and then colour all the hair together as normal. This will ensure an even result so that the dry/bleached hair absorbs and holds enough colour/pigment/tone and doesn’t fade too quickly.
