How Do You Stimulate A 5-Month-Olds Physical Development?
“You have a five month old. He or she’s getting stronger; starting to maybe crawl, wanting to pull up to the standing position. What do you do? How do you promote that physical development? Hi, I’m Dr. Donna, with some advice on how to do that. If you have a child that is starting to stand, encourage them to stand maybe leaning up against a table such as this. This baby doll’s not big enough for that. Or if you have a tubey; this is an example; tubeys can be much higher. You can lean them up against the tubey. Put some toys in the tubey. Let em’ reach and grab if they’re standing. If they’re standing, like I said, they can stand and bend and reach. A lot of children at five month are at five months are starting to roll over on the tummy, and starting to push up maybe in a crawling position, so you want to encourage them to be in that position to work on that upper body strength.
