How Do You Stencil On Fabric (Freezer Paper Method)?

• Find a design online, and print it out on freezer paper (black and white ink works best). • Use an x-acto knife to cut out the black part of the picture. • Iron the stencil shiny side down onto the fabric in the area you want the image. • Slide cardboard under the fabric to keep the paint from leaking to the other side of the item of clothing. • Paint over the stencil in your chosen color. A miniscule amount of paint is sufficient; don’t overload your brush. • When paint is dry, peel off freezer paper. Clean up.
