How Do You Stay Organized In High School With Block Scheduling?
• Get a decent planner. One that has 2 full pages for 1 week, with large amounts of space for each day. • Designate two spots in your room that are right next to each other that you will be sure to see first thing when you walk in. • Make a stack of the books for 1 of the days and one for the other days. • Write due dates and events on the actual day sections of the planner. • Write the assignments and assignment descriptions in the weekend sections of your planner. • As you finish assignments, white them out off the weekend area until the page is unusable and/or irrelevant time wise. • At the end of every school day, highlight the assignments due the next day in one color and assignments you think you want to start early that are NOT due the next day in another. Make your planner your Holy Grail!
