Despite the name blackberry lily or leopard lily, as it is sometimes called, the flower is not truly a lily, but a member of the iris family. The plant is a perennial with small, mostly orange flowers with stems that can grow to 2 or 3 feet tall. They look best planted among other flowers that attract attention.
