Starting a skateboarding team is a way to meet people who share a love for skateboarding. Members of the team have a unique opportunity to work with each other to learn new skills and techniques. While it is easy to start a skateboarding team, it is a little more difficult to make that team grow and expand into an efficient and well-known team. Talk to other skateboarders about starting a team. You need skaters who have different skill levels and different specialties. For example, one skater may be good at different grinding tricks, while another may be good at aerial stunts. It is also a good idea to have team members who are different ages on your team because some skating competitions have events separated by age categories.
