How Do You Start A Ninja 250 Motorcycle?
Originally introduced in 1983, the Ninja 250R is still Kawasaki’s best-selling sport motorcycle. Lightweight and easy to ride, the little Ninja is a perfect motorcycle for new riders to learn the skills needed to ride safely on the street. But before you can begin to hone these skills, you must learn how to start the Ninja 250R. Fortunately, Kawasaki has made starting the 250 as easy as riding it. Sit on the motorcycle and turn the ignition switch to the “ON” position. Lift the motorcycle upright and raise the kickstand. Turn the fuel valve to the “ON” position. The valve is located under the left side of the fuel tank, just forward of the rider’s seat. Open the choke by pulling the lever on the left handlebar forward. Shift the motorcycle into “NEUTRAL” and hold in the clutch lever. Place the kill switch on the right handlebar in the “RUN” position and press the electric start button with your thumb.
