I received a memory journal over the holidays from a family member I hadn’t heard from in years and whom I had lost that connection I so dearly loved. The memory journal was the most thoughtful gift I had ever seen. It truly says to the receiver, “Hi, I’ve missed you and want to rekindle that relationship we once had. Let’s share some memories together!” Step 1 Buy a new journal and write these instructions on the first page. “Every time I think about [insert time here ie. childhood, college] I can’t help but to think about you. This notebook is a small reminder of a few of those adventures we had together. Each time you receive it enjoy the entry and add any thoughts you may have for that entry.
