Gas-powered RC cars are extremely fast and maneuverable. Perhaps the most confusing part of getting into this hobby is learning how to start the cars before you begin driving them. Luckily, any gas RC car kit will come with the needed essentials to get the car started, and learning how to safely and easily get the car running will take only a bit of practice. Pop the body off of the car by pulling on the release tabs on the sides, and locate the engine. There will be a round hole on top of the engine known as the “glow igniter mount.” Turn the glow igniter on and place it in the hole. Make sure the car’s fuel tank is filled with fuel, and then use your car’s ignition rotator (could be a drill, igniter box or hand pump) to rotate the engine.
