It’s not surprising that a budding musician would want to start a funk band. There are lots of ways to do this, but here’s the best way. Jam with friends. A good band is not necessarily comprised of the best players. It’s about a vibe. Specifically, musicians who groove well together are more likely to make a successful funk band. Name the band. After a couple of jam sessions, it will be clear the “Funky As Fish Grease” band has been created. All will agree that the name was destiny. Rehearse until it hurts.
