Starting a church newsletter is a rewarding experience for those who work on the newsletter as well as the rest of the church congregation. It provides a great way to bring church members together. It may take a few months to get up and running, but once the members of the church get used to the newsletter in their mailbox every month, they will all be clamoring to be included. Brainstorm. Get together with other members in your church who are interested in helping with the newsletter and have a brainstorming session. Decide what size you envision the newsletter being and what you want included in the newsletter. Prepare a proposal for the pastor and/or church board members.
