How Do You Start A Barbeque Grill?
Sometimes the hardest part of grilling is getting the fire lit. Lighting a gas grill is straightforward, but charcoal grills can be tricky. The success of your fire can depend on the wind and weather as well as your fire making skills. Many grillers use lighter fluid, but some don’t like the flavor or odor of the starter fluid. Using a chimney starter reliably starts charcoal without the use of lighter fluid. Place the grill out of the wind and use more charcoal on cold days. Be sure to read all of the manufacturers instructions that came with your grill before the first use. Turn the chimney starter upside down so that the smaller compartment is up. Crumple a couple of pages of paper and place into this smaller compartment. Place the chimney starter with crumpled paper down onto the grill grate.
