If you have ever played footbag before, you have probably witnessed a stall, also known as a delay. This is when the footbag you are using comes to rest while it is still in play. This is a trick that is used more often in freestyle play but it is also enjoyable to pull it out when playing in a casual circle with friends. Read on for step-by-step instructions to stall a footbag. Practice. Toss a footbag up in the air and try to catch it on top of your foot. To do this you want the footbag to land in the area around your toes. Try to cradle the footbag with your foot and curl your toes. To cradle it, drop your foot with the bag a little bit so the difference in speeds isn’t dramatic. If you keep your foot still, the footbag is more likely to bounce off. Once you can stall by yourself with the footbag, try to mix it in when playing in circles with your friends. It might take a little while to get it game ready. but just keep practicing.
