How Do You Sprout Flower Seeds Inside Quickly?

0

My daughter and I started a project together for her school. It involved planting seeds in potting soil and experimenting to see which one sprouted first. Well due to complete rain for 2 weeks, none of our pots yielded a sprout. With only a few days before the project was due we decided to help out our seeds to get things moving, and boy did they sprout fast. Gather all your supplies: metal pan, flower seeds, and paper towel. Fold paper towels in half and dampen them. Place towel inside of metal pan. Open the fold and place your seeds inside. Mist the seeds with some water. Lay the fold over the seeds. Mist the top of the paper towel. Place the metal tray in a sunny area. Keep the paper towel wet. Keep about 1/2″ of water on the bottom of the tray. You should see a sprout in a few days. The metal pan is great at keeping the heat needed for sprouting.
