How Do You Spray Clean Vinyl Siding?
Vinyl siding is known for low cost and maintenance. Wood siding needs sealed annually and painted surfaces dull quickly. Eventually, however, vinyl siding needs to be cleaned to remove dirt and grime that builds up on the surface. Spray cleaning vinyl is a simple way of keeping your home looking vibrant and fresh. Wet the vinyl siding with spray from a garden hose. Set the nozzle to a medium mist and begin spraying the vinyl with back and forth motions. Start spraying at the top and move down the vinyl, keeping the nozzle pointed downwards, not upwards. Mix two squirts of dish detergent into a bucket of warm water. Transfer the cleaning solution to a pump spray container. Spray the cleaning solution onto one 6-foot section of vinyl siding. Scrub the vinyl with a soft-bristled brush attached to a long pole. Do not use hard-bristled brushes to clean vinyl as they may damage the surface. Spray the cleaned section with the garden hose. Rinse all soapy residue from the vinyl surface. Repeat
