How Do You Speed Without Getting A Ticket?
Here’s my philosophy on speeding: Tickets are a part of life! Even the best of us get caught speeding every once in a while. I kind of look at speeding fines as voluntary speeding fees … something I am willing to pay every so often in order to drive a little faster every day. I’m averaging a ticket every six years and, actually, I’m overdue for my next one! As long as I stick to the simple rules below, I find that I am able to avoid tickets. Speed judiciously. Just because your car will go 120 mph doesn’t mean you should drive that fast. Set a reasonable speed for the area and conditions. And in general, comply with all other driving laws. Wear your seatbelt. Don’t tailgate. Pass safely. Give drivers on the side of the road plenty of space when you pass. Slow down appropriately for traffic lights and intersections.
