Begin by installing Dynamat or an equivalent material between the PT Cruiser’s carpet and the floorboard. Remove the shift knob and the center console screws to remove the console. Remove the four bolts mounting each seat to the floor and remove the seats. Pull the carpet from under the side trim panels and roll it backward. Apply a layer of Dynamat across the front floor, then replace the carpet. Pull back the rear carpet to perform the same task. Roll down each window and pull each rubber seal from the window frame housing. Install the new window seals. The seals are self-attaching and require no tools.
