How Do You Solve Numericals Of Projectile Motion In Physics?

to solve the projectile motion numericals: resolve the velocity in vectors along x & y axes. in most of the cases there is no force acting on the projectile along the x axis. and along the y axis there is gravity hence it would retard the prjectile for the first half of its trajectory and in the later half it would accelerate. find out the time of flight using the equation [v=u-gt] since at the highest point the velocity would be zerohence u=gt or t=u/g. or total time of flight =2u/g. thus the range of the projectile can be calculated.
