How Do You Sing With Vocal Vibrato?
• Soften your jaw and raise your soft palate. Hollow the inside of your mouth while realigning the tongue on the bottom of the mouth. Hold a rounded shape in the lips and keep the inside space of your mouth as large as possible. Maintain a ‘U’ shape in the back of your throat. For many, an indication that the soft palate is correctly raised manifests itself as excessive yawning, for proper soft palate placement occurs naturally when one does yawn. Do not alter this placement while you vibrate any more than slightly on occasion.
