How Do You Show Solidarity To Muslim Community During Ramadan?
Islam is the largest religion of the world. During the month of Ramadan which belongs to the lunar calendar of Islam, Muslims fast for the whole month. The fasting starts at sunrise and ends at sunset. They do this to show gratitude to God. They also give alms and charity during this month. Talk to your Muslim friends and ask them about the activities they have planned for the month of Ramadan. If you are in college, visit your Muslim Student Association office and look for events they have planned for the month. These Ramadan events are a great source of knowledge about the practices observed during Ramadan. Attend lectures given during the Ramadan at other colleges and universities, and Muslim Community Centers about the beliefs and practices during Ramadan. Visit a mosque or a Muslim Community Center during the sunset time when they break their fast to observe the tradition of fasting and prayer.
