How Do You Sharpen Radial Saw Blades?
If your radial saw blade is dull, it will chew into the substances you cut instead of cutting through them. When this happens, you can either purchase a new saw blade or, as long as the teeth on the saw blade aren’t deformed, you can sharpen the blade so that it’s as good as new again. Make sure to wear a dust mask and protective goggles when you do this, as you don’t want any metal shavings to enter your lungs or eyes. You can also wear cut-resistant gloves if you’re at all concerned about slipping and cutting your fingers on the saw blade. Step 1 Make sure the radial saw is turned off and unplugged.
