How Do You Sharpen A Delica Knife?
A Delica knife can be an excellent tool to have with you while hunting. As with any kitchen knife, though, these knives will begin to get dull after a good amount of use. Using a dull knife can be very frustrating and dangerous since you’re putting more pressure on the knife to cut with it. Sharpening a Delica knife is a very simple process and keep your knife cutting like new for years to come. Begin by purchasing a standard sharpening stone. The right sharpening stone will have one side that is sharp and one side that is rough. Pour about one teaspoon of honing oil onto the center of the rough side of the sharpening stone. Use your index and middle finger to spread the oil evenly on the stone. Grip the Delica knife as you normally would and tilt it to a 30-degree angle toward the sharpening stone. Rest your other hand on the back side of the blade. This is the hand you will use to guide the blade along the stone. Run the blade of the knife along the rough side of the sharpening stone
