Although lined curtains can be expensive to purchase, they are relatively easy and cheap to make. Measure the window. Your curtain will have two panels, and each panel should equal roughly the width of the window. Measure the height of the window and decide where you want the curtain to fall. You will want to add two inches to the height to account for the hem. Cut two lining panels to the measurements. Cut the curtain panels, making them three inches wider and two inches longer than the lining panels Fold up 3/4 of an inch on the bottom of all four panels and iron it flat.
