We will learn how to make a blanket out of a duvet cover and a blanket you don’t like any more or is old and worn. Turn the duvet cover inside out, then pin the old blanket to the duvet cover. In my case the blanket was smaller than the duvet cover, so I pinned the left side right up against the side of the cover. I then pinned the bottoms together. By this point I had about 9 inches of duvet cover remaining on the right side. Cut off any excess. I moved up the right side, measuring 9 inches and pinning the two together. Then I cut along the right edge of the old blanket. I did the same with the top, since I had extra cover on the top too. Sew the left, bottom, and right edges together, and 6 inches in on each side of the top. We’re not sewing the whole top yet because you have to turn it back right side out. I left about a 1/2 inch seam allowance. Turn it right side out, making sure that all the corners are pushed out all the way. Flatten it all out and look at it. Does it look all ri
