How Do You Setup A Linksys Router?
Many families own more than one computers and laptops at home and they want to share the internet connection. Especially when using a laptop, you want to connect to the internet anywhere in the house. But most of the Internet Service Providers do not provide with a router, it only comes with a modem that you only can connect to one PC. In this article, I am going to show you how to setup a Linksys router. Linksys is a popular brand in networking which is owned by Cisco. Linksys routers are easy to setup. Follow these steps to connect your modem to the router and setup configurations: If you have the modem is connected to your PC directly, unplug it from your PC now. Using the same cable, plug it into the back of linksys router where it labeled as: Internet or WAN. The phone line still connected to the wall jack and the modem. Plug another network cable into one of the available ports where is says 1,2,3,4 etc and connect to the PC’s network port. Power up modem first, and then turn on
