With the wide variety of wireless routers that are currently available, it has become very easy for anyone to setup WiFi Internet at home. The 802.11g wireless routers offer the best speed and performance and are compatible with almost every computer or device. Although setting up your own home WiFi network can seem intimidating, you can quickly set up and configure it in just a few minutes. Step 1 Connect your wireless router to your cable or DSL modem. Plug the Ethernet cable directly into the back of your router in the port labeled either WAN, WLAN, or Internet. Step 2 Turn on your router. Wait until the WAN or WLAN light on your router starts to flash and light up. Be patient as this can take up to a minute.
