How Do You Set Up Instant Messenger?
There are several different types of instant messenger application available on the Internet, the big three being Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger and AOL Instant Messenger. All three are available for free and are very easy to install. You will need to sign up for an account before you can sign in to your chosen messenger application and begin using its features. Signing up for an account and installing the software should only take a few minutes. Go to the Windows Live Messenger website and click “Download Now.” Save the EXE file to your computer desktop. Double click the EXE file when the download is complete. Follow the on-screen installation instructions. Choose a disk to install the application and agree to the terms of use.
