How Do You Set Up Bluetooth Devices?
Bluetooth technology uses a short-range wireless signal to create a personal area network between two Bluetooth-enabled devices. As long as they remain within range of each other, which is about 30 feet for Class 2 Bluetooth, the two devices will maintain a connection and communicate with each other. Before this connection can take place, the devices need to be set up to work together in a process called pairing. To pair together, one device will broadcast that it is ready to pair, and the other will search for that device and establish the connection.
